Settings: Providers & Keys

Settings (⌘,) organizes every preference into clear sections. Open it from the menu bar (MagiaCap → Settings) or press ⌘,.

Transcription

Pick your default provider and add its API key (Groq, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, or Local).

Caption Gen

Set the default layout mode, LLM provider, and model used for caption generation. Providers include DeepSeek, OpenAI, Groq, and OpenRouter — OpenRouter gives you hundreds of models from a single key. The model picker lets you search any model by name, lists your most-recently-used models first, and flags thinking models so you can avoid caption formatting issues.

Translation

Add your DeepL key for translating transcripts.

Replacements

Define global text rules applied after AI generation — e.g. always write your brand name correctly.

Audio & Export

Set playback defaults and choose whether to auto-open the export folder after export.
