Exporting Titles & Transcripts
Export captions as FCPXML titles or SRT, and transcripts in SRT, VTT, TXT, CSV, or JSON.
MagiaCap exports captions in every format editors need. Right-click any project → Export. With multiple projects selected, export everything in one batch.
Title Exports
- FCPXML (Final Cut Pro Title) — import straight into your FCPX timeline as editable title clips.
- FCPXML (Animated) — word-by-word animated titles, ready to render.
- SRT — universal subtitles for Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, TikTok, and Reels.
Transcript Exports

- JSON — one click from the Export menu.
Export Settings
The export folder you choose is remembered across sessions and updates, so you don't have to re-pick it each time. Auto-open after export is optional — toggle it in Settings → Audio & Export. Default is off.
