Handle long content smartly — segment view is fast and cheap, full LLM is higher quality.
When content exceeds roughly 10 minutes or 1,200 words, MagiaCap shows an explicit dialog with three options — no silent surprises on your bill.
Options
- View as Segments — pure client-side sentence splitting. No LLM, fast, nearly free. Best for long-form content.
- Continue Anyway — full LLM caption processing. Slower and costs more per run; use when you need polished hooks and emoji.
- Cancel — go back and keep your transcript as-is.
Long-Form Behavior
Long-form uses a simplified prompt: no emoji and longer lines, optimized for podcasts and interviews where dense text is fine.
