Find & Replace + Replacements
Fix text across your transcript and captions, and apply global rules automatically.
Two tools keep your text consistent: Find & Replace for one-off fixes, and Replacements for rules that apply to every new caption.
Find & Replace
Press ⌘F for Find or ⌘⇧F for Find and Replace. Both search across the transcript and captions at once.
Replacements
Define global text rules in Settings → Replacements, e.g. always write your brand name correctly. Rules are applied automatically when AI caption generation finishes — before the result ever appears. Every replaced item keeps its original text, so you can flip back with Show Original at any time.
Replacements are non-destructive. Batch undo (Cmd+Z) doesn't cover automated replacements — use Show Original instead.
