Client Script Diff

When a client gives you a script, it may not match the transcript word-for-word. Client Script lets you compare the two side by side and choose which version to use — without re-transcribing.

Open Client Script

Open Client Script from the toolbar. It's available in both Transcription and Caption mode.

Paste & Review

1. 1Paste or load your client's script.
2. 2Review each segment: words that differ are highlighted, showing your client's version and the transcript's version.
3. 3Select the words you want to keep and press Enter to move them into the transcript.
4. 4Ignore a transcript segment you don't want (for example, a section the client told you to drop) by right-clicking it and choosing Ignore This Segment. It's excluded from alignment, and its captions appear muted in the editor.
5. 5Click Apply to save. Only the changed words are replaced — timing stays in sync, no re-transcription needed.
