Caption Mode

Editing Captions

Edit any caption inline, split lines, join them, and undo — timing stays intact.

Every caption is editable directly in the editor — no dialogs, no overlays.

Edit Inline

Click any caption to select it, then type to edit it inline. Press Esc to save your edit, or the red xmark to cancel it.

Split & Join

  • Press Enter to split a caption at the word boundary — exact timing is preserved.
  • Delete an empty caption to join it with its neighbor.
  • Press ⌘Z to undo any edit.

Sections & Font Size

Use ⌘+ and ⌘- to make caption text larger or smaller while editing. Drag clips between sections (Hook, Script, CTA) or use ⌘1–⌘5.

Splitting with Enter uses the transcript's word timestamps, so both halves stay perfectly synced to the audio.
