Coverage Panel
See how much of your transcript is covered by captions — and fix missing or extra words.
The coverage badge sits at the bottom of the caption editor. It scores how well your captions match the transcript — green is exact, yellow means partial, red means words are missing.
How the Score Works
The score is matched words ÷ (transcript words + extra words). AI-added words lower the score, so 100% is only reachable when your captions are verbatim.
Fix Coverage
- 1Click the badge to open the Coverage panel.
- 2Missing words: click a word to select it, then Add Selected, or Add All to insert every gap at once.
- 3Extra words: review what the AI added and remove them with one click. Cmd+Z undoes any change.
A green 100% means your captions use exactly the transcript's words — the safest output for final cut.
